Standard Grade Bucktail

This is honest, usable bucktail. Not cherry-picked, not dressed up, and not priced like it’s something it isn’t.

Standard grade bucktail is exactly what most fly tyers actually need for everyday work: solid fibre length, natural taper, and plenty of movement in the water. You’ll see some variation in colour and density across the tail — that’s normal and expected at this grade — but there’s more than enough quality material here to tie effective flies.

Expect:

Natural stiffness near the base with good flare control

Softer tips that breathe and pulse properly in the water

Usable fibres for streamers, deceivers, saltwater patterns, and classic bucktail flies

Natural colour variation tail to tail — no two are identical
