James Jennings 

I’ve been fishing for approximately 37 years, 36 of them targeting fresh water predators. I landed my first pike at the age of 6 on the River Douglas in September 1990 and have been totally obsessed ever since. 

My fly fishing obsession didn’t start until much later and I’ve now been fly fishing for around 10 years and tying for about 6. 

My main passion in tying is for big streamers and all things predator. However that said I do tie a lot of nymphs to target barbel on the fly during the summer months. 

I predominately fish rivers on fly and only head for still water when I’m forced to by the conditions.
