Sam Greenway AKA Hedgefly. Based on the North West coast near the Lake District. 

I have been fishing since i was very young starting with coarse and carp fishing and moving away into fly fishing around 7 years ago. I mainly salt water fly fish Bass and spend time in the lake district for Pike. My fly tying is mainly predator based using traditional and modern techniques from old school flatwings tied in the style of Kenney Abrames and pike flies using bucktail and synthetics. 

I also love to fish the Cumbrian rivers with my youngest daughter when time permits and try catch some lovely wild brown trout, making a weekend of it camping somewhere is the weather is nice. For the last 4 years I have been on the Deer Creek pro team and was asked to be on the Ahrex pro team in 2024.

Most recently though, in January 2025 I was asked to be the UK Ewing Feather Birds ambassador.  

One of the best roles I currently hold is being a "Flychiatrist" for Wading Waters Fly Fishing, where I am fortunate enough to fish with the best fly rods and gear on the market, from Douglas Outdoors, Thomas&Thomas, Shilton and many more.
